Outhouses and showers.  Note: No water tank on tower anymore.  We finally have running water (that sometimes even works).  When pits under outhouses fill up, they move them and plant banana trees (so you don’t dig there again).  The US base C.O.s bananas were always bigger than the Thai base commander’s.  I won’t speculate what that said about us.
